The Governor’s Vision Statement - Ethos and Values

Elmore Green Primary School provides a learning environment that opens up a world of opportunities and takes pupils on a journey to through rich, real and relevant learning experiences. We endeavour to overcome barriers to learning that our pupil’s may face, whether they be academic, social or emotional, and provide a safe, secure and caring environment in which they can learn.

At our school we aspire to;

  • ignite a passion for life-long learning;

  • promote curiosity, enthusiasm and independence;

  • challenge and pursue excellence through an innovative and inclusive curriculum;

  • provide a learning environment where everyone can grow, achieve and aspire within a safe and caring atmosphere of teamwork, support and cooperation

  • value everyone as an individual and encourage respect for others

  • create confident independent individuals who take responsibility for their actions and who understand their role in our community and the world they share with everybody.

At Elmore Green Primary School, we will recognise the strengths and talents of all children to enable them to reach their full potential as rounded individuals. We value respect, optimism, excellence and encourage our pupils to be caring individuals who can make a difference and aspire for our pupils to leave us as happy, fulfilled, lifelong learners.

Our school is a good school that strives for continual improvement by providing opportunities and support for all stakeholders to be the best that they can be. We will work with parents, families and the local and wider community to encourage a life-long love for learning and we  aim to support all of our children to become caring, responsible, active citizens prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.

We are leading the way with the use of technology in our classrooms and are ever developing its use as a tool to enhance teaching and learning to equip children with skills in technology for their future in a digital age.
